Junior Clay Court Championships Day #3
The 2015 Bermuda Junior Clay Court Championships continued at the Coral Beach & Tennis Club.
The day saw the introduction of the Girls Divisions, in the 14 & Under Girls Division Imani Phillips defeated Britney Outerbridge in straight sets 6-1, 6-0, while Kaylah Ming defeated Jahzuena Bradshaw-Douglas in straight sets in their 16 & Under Girls Division match 6-0, 6-0.
In 18 & Under Boys Division action William Way defeated Luke Stirling in straight sets 6-4, 6-1 and James Finnigan defeated Dylan Powell 6-2, 6-2.
Kairo Morton and Jaire Salaam-Lawrence needed three sets to win their 14 & Under Boys Doubles match against Henry Boyle and Connor O’Keefe. Boyle and O’Keefe won the first set 6-3, but the tournament’s three set king Morton and his partner Salaam-Lawrence won the second set 7-6, the pair then won the third and final set 7-5.
