Photos, Video, Results: M32 Sailing Series Day 1

[Updated with photos] The inaugural M32 Series Bermuda kicked off yesterday [Jan 9] with an international fleet of sailors taking to Bermuda’s waters.

The Magenta Project team with skipper Sally Barkow recorded three wins and three second place finishes to go along with a third and fourth place finish for their 16 points. Also sitting with 16 points is the Convexity team with skipper Don Wilson, who recorded two wins, four second place finishes and two thirds.

Video highlights of Day #1

Charlie Enright with his 11th-hour Racing team had a mixed day, they finished second in the first race and then recorded 6 points in the next four races, before closing out the day with three first place finishes.

M32 Bermuda Series Day One Leaderboard:

  • 16 The Magenta Project – Sally Barkow
  • 16 Convexity – Don Wilson
  • 31 11th-hour Racing – Charlie Enright
  • 38 Jarvinen & Lumijavi Sailing Team – Mikkel Rossberg
  • 48 Valhalla – Hakan Svensson

The series will run from January to April with one event per month, with the next event slated to take place from February 19-21.
