BFA To Host Merit Awards & Prize-Giving Gala
On Saturday April 30th, the Bermuda Football Association [BFA] will host its second Merit Awards & Season Prize-Giving Gala in the Cafetorium of the CedarBridge Academy commencing with cocktail reception from 6:30pm.
The BFA said, “Tickets are available from the BFA Offices, 1 BFA Way, Devonshire [295-2199] and are priced at $70 per person or $500 for a table of eight.
“Price includes the entrance to the event, dinner, a drink and after party. Dress code is Cocktail Attire [dress pants, jacket and shoes [tie is optional]. Proceeds to benefit the BFA Development Program and National Team Preparation. This event is open to the public.
“If anyone would like to nominate a person or organization for the BFA Order of Merit Award, please contact the BFA office at 295-2199 or dsabir@bermudafootball.com to receive the nomination forms and section criteria. Nomination must be received by Monday 25 April 2016
“Last year Merit Awards recipients were Mr. Joseph Wilkin, Bermuda Healthcare Services, Mr. Arnold Ford, Mr. Clive Taylor, Mr. Shervin Dill and Mr. Reginald Burrows. This year receipts will be announced on Saturday 30 April 2016.”
