Photos: Robin Hood Win Corona League Title
Robin Hood are the 2015-16 Corona League FA Cup Champions following their 2-1 victory over Butterfield & Vallis at the BAA Field.
Robin Hood got on the board early in the first half when a long clearance was headed on and Fabio DiVuolo was able to score with his right footed shot past an advancing Butterfield & Vallis goalkeeper.
Robin Hood doubled their lead midway through the first half after Butterfield & Vallis failed to clear their lines and Divuolo’s shot was blocked just inside the box; the ball fell to the feet of Matt Clingerman, who made no mistake from some seven yards out.
Butterfield & Vallis would pull a goal back when Tokia Russell found the back of the net, but they could not find the equalizer as Robin Hood went on to lift the Cup.
