This is a horrid tragedy and we should all pray this poor man recovers. A lot of the blame rests on whoever in Government allowed the shooting of the chickens to start with. Whoever said it is okay for him or others to shoot at things in Bermuda, where the shooter cannot see what may be in a bush and cause the bullets to ricochet. they would just be shooting at a bird when they see it. The fact shooting was allowed in any residential or commercial area where people live and frequent, is utterly disturbing and disgustingly irresponsible for someone to approve or do. Anyone at any time in Bermuda could obviously have suffered likewise and been randomly shot while walking or driving. The family of the victim should sue and the victims medical costs should be 100% covered. I hope he recovers and has no brain injury or pain he is forced to live with. Lord have mercy…
