Police Confirm Body Found In Sandys Parish
[Updated with video] This afternoon [June 17] the police responded to a call of “what appears to be a body found” in Sandys, and said “inquiries are continuing to establish the identity of this individual.”
Acting Inspector Jason Smith said: “This afternoon the Bermuda Police Service has responded to a call of what appears to be a body found in the bush area behind me [Ireland Rangers Field, Ireland Island Sandys parish].
“At this moment inquiries are continuing to establish the identity of this individual. Our forensic officers are currently on scene processing the scene along with detectives from the Serious Crime Unit conducting various inquiries.
“More information will be released regarding this investigation in due course.”
