Motorcyclist Injured In Collision On Crow Lane

[Updated] A 23-year-old male motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after crashing into a parked car on Crow Lane this evening.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:35pm ‎on Sunday, June 19th a reported serious collision occurred on Crow Lane in Pembroke, near the junction with Lane Hill.

“Details are limited at this time. However, it appears that a 23 year old male motorcyclist crashed into a parked car near Hamma Galleries.

“He was conscious and responsive while being transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, but the extent of his injuries is currently unknown.

“‎Traffic diversions are in place while the scene is being processed by Traffic Collision Investigators and the Forensic Support Unit.

“An update on the injured motorcyclist’s condition will be provided in due course.

“Witnesses should contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

Update 8.27pm: The police said the “Crow Lane collision scene has been re-opened to normal traffic flow.”

Update June 20, 2.09pm: A police spokesperson said, “At last check the 23 year old Pembroke man injured when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a parked car around 6:35pm Sunday, June 19th along Crow Lane in Pembroke near Lane Hill was in stable condition at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Inquiries regarding this collision continue. Witnesses or persons that can assist should contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.”

    He should try to get the same lawyer as the bus driver had because it’s obvious it was the car’s fault again. He could sue.

    The motorcyclist was running away from the police. The police was chasing him on front street. The motorcyclist probably lost control as he was driving extremely fast and dangerously. Hope he is ok.
