Fire Service Responds To Vehicle Fire In Warwick

At approximately 8:29am this morning, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service responded to a report of a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Warwick Academy School, however prior to their arrival, the fire had been extinguished with a fire extinguisher.

Fire Service spokesperson Staff Officer Delton White said, “The vehicle was reported to have visible smoke and flames emitting from the engine compartment of the car.

“The Fire Service responded to the incident with one vehicle staffed with 4 personnel to find that prior to their arrival, the fire had been extinguished with a fire extinguisher.

“There were no injuries as a result of the fire.”
