35 Minute Video: Gathering To ‘Reflect & Connect’
A gathering was held this afternoon [Dec 20] on the steps of City Hall under the theme ‘Reflect & Connect’, with the event including words from faith leaders, political leaders and musical entertainment from Gene Steede.
The event was coordinated by Glenn Fubler and Martha Dismont, with Mr Fubler saying: “Our goal is to leverage the Spirit of the Season with the view of fostering a renewed sense of community in the Island, given recent challenges; under the theme ‘Reflect & Connect’.
There were brief remarks from Premier Michael Dunkley, Opposition Leader David Burt, Reverend Betty Furbert-Woolridge, Bishop Nicholas Dill, Martha Dismont, and entertainer Gene Steede sang a few Christmas songs to entertain those in attendance.
