Photos & Results: Basketball League Semi-Finals
The Island Basketball League Semi-Final round took place inside the CedarBridge Gymnasium, with the Fly Boys and Tsunamis earning victories.
In the opener, the defending champions Fly Boys edged the Thunder Cats 61 – 60. Jeron Haley scored the final six points of the contest to earn the Fly Boys the win. He finished with 25 points, while the Thunder Cats were led by Chris Crumpler with a game high 27 points.
In the nightcap, the Tsunamis defeated the Rim Rockers 62 – 40. Johnathan Lugo scored 18 points to lead the Tsunamis to victory, while Aaron Camaral was the top scorer for the Rim Rockers with 13 points.
