EAP To Host Annual General Meeting On Oct 25
The Employee Assistance Programme [EAP] of Bermuda will host its Annual General Meeting [AGM] on Wednesday, 25 October 2017 at 4:00 pm.
EAP this year celebrates 30 years of service to Bermuda’s corporate community, which is reflected in the event’s theme: 30 Years of Listening.
Doris DeCosta, Executive Director of EAP commented, “This year, the evening is focused on honoring the very important partnerships that have allowed EAP to serve the community for 30 years. We invite all member organizations to attend this year’s AGM and celebrate this milestone with us.”
Minister of Health Kim Wilson will present the keynote speech outlining the importance of programmes such as EAP and the key role they play in meeting the needs of the larger community and Bermuda Government.
Minister Wilson said, “This year’s theme for Mental Health Week has been “Mental Health in the Workplace”’ which is very relevant to Bermuda today.
“With the pressures of our economic climate, many employees have felt added strains and anxiety, which impact their mental wellbeing and productivity. The EAP and other workplace assistance services are vital for employers to assist employees when they need help in managing personal and professional circumstances.”
