Field Hockey League: Pink Robins Wins

The 2017/18 Bermuda Hockey Federation League season resumed with a double header at the National Sports Center, with a total of 9 goals scored in the two games.

Canaries 1 Pink Robins 2

A young Pink Robins team were able to defeat the Canaries 2 – 1 in the opener.

The Pink Robins would go in front in the 4h minute with a Field Goal off the stick of Joanna Heaney.

Abigail Fernandez would equalize for the Canaries when she scored a Field Goal in the 38th minute, only for Ciara Brady to score what proved to be the winner for the Pink Robins in the 54th minute.

Mixed A Team 3 Mixed B Team 3

The Mixed A and B teams took to the National Sports Center Hockey pitch for a matchup, with the match ending 3 – 3.

Th Mixed A Teams got 2 Kelli Nusum Penalty Corner goals and a single Field Goal strike from Ana Abend, while the Mixed B Team goal single goals off the sticks of Tim Davies, Joseph Fernandez and Mark Finnigan.
