Kacy Milan Butterfield Bermuda January 2018Rushall Olympic extended the loan deal for Bermuda’s Kacy Milan Butterfield until the end of the season, according to an article on the Walsall Football Club and the Rushall Olympic FC website.

The story said, “Walsall midfielders Jordon Sangha and Milan Butterfield have extended their loan deals with Rushall Olympic until the end of the season.

“Sangha has made 12 appearances for the Pics, while Butterfield has featured on 14 occasions.

Butterfield commented: “It’s been a good time. I’ve enjoyed being around the players and I’ve enjoyed playing.

“I’ve played a few games and it’s been good to go out and play senior football. It’s much harder than reserves football – there’s more pressing and it’s more physical.

“The standard is good and I feel I’m progressing a lot – I need to just keep working hard and try to play as well as possible.”

The loans are subject to clearance, while there is also a 24-hour recall option in the Saddlers’ favour.

The story from Rushall Olympic FC said, “The pics have been handed a boost with the news that League One neighbours, Walsall, have agreed to extend the loan of emerging youngsters, Milan Butterfield and Jordon Sangha, for the remainder of the season.

“The duo arrived at the club in October and have progressed well under our wing. The Saddlers will have a 24-hour recall clause should their services be required at Banks’s Stadium.

“Butterfield is a talented Bermudian midfielder who became Walsall’s first signing of the summer 2016 transfer window.

“He has the ability to spot a pass early, a good first touch, and a great engine and was recommended to the club by former Saddlers’ striker and fellow countryman, Kyle Lightbourne.

“Standing at 6’4”, he earned a one-year deal following a successful trial spell. He then spent the 2016-17 campaign with John Ward’s Development Squad, helping them win the Central League North West Division and Walsall Senior Cup.

“After penning a new deal with Walsall during the summer of 2017, he spent a month in The National League North with Leamington at the start of the current campaign before making the switch to Dales Lane.”
