Andre Lambe Hosts Free Youth Sports Event
Professional boxer Andre Lambe is hosting a free sports event for children in Primary 1 to Middle 3 on September 13.
The Back to School Showtime Kids All-Star Sports Experience will take place at Port Royal Golf Course from 1 pm.
The event will feature golf, boxing, kickboxing, pickleball, fitness and tennis, with participants rotating through the six sports and spending 30 minutes at each station with coaches and professionals.
“Growing up, I had the opportunity to try many different sports, and I enjoyed almost all of them” Lambe, who fights at welterweight, said.
“I wanted to give our youth the same opportunity to expand on a sport they already like or experience something completely new.
“Being involved in sport teaches much more than just how to play a game.
“They build teamwork, dedication, resilience, problem-solving skills and confidence that kids can carry with them into childhood.
“Not every child gets the opportunity to try different sports, my hope is on September 13, we can help some of them find something they love.”

Food will also be available for pre-order, with a ten-inch pizza priced at $25 and a hot dog at $15.
