Video: Washington Wins Gold In Pennsylvania

During the second session of the 2018 Eastern Interscholastic Swimming & Diving Championships in Pennsylvania that Warwick Academy swimmers are competing in, the Bermuda team captured one medal – and it was gold.

In the 200 yard freestyle A final, Jesse Washington clocked the fastest time of 1:39.12 to stand on top of the podium.

Other Bermuda swimmers were in action as well, with Logan Watson Brown finishing 4th in the 200 yard freestyle A final touching the wall in a time of 1:53.17, while Taylor White competed in the C final finishing 6th with a time of 2:01.67.

During the 50 yard freestyle C final, Gabriela Pitman finished 6th clocking a time of 25.77.

In the 200 yard freestyle relay A final the team of Pitman, Skyler Powell, White and Watson Brown finished 8th with a time of 1:42.31, while the team of Washington, Sam Williamson, Brian Desmond and Keagan Woolley finished the 200 yard freestyle relay B final in 4th place clocking a time of 1:30.29.
