Vinzie Zuill Now An FA Registered Intermediary

March 20, 2018

Vinzie Zuill Bermuda March 2018Vinzie Zuill, President of Footy Promotions, is now an FA registered intermediary agent.

Ms. Zuill, who was born and resides in Bermuda, is registered with the English FA under the Intermediary Number IMS003305, and is believed to be the first Bermudian female registered intermediary.

MS. Zuill said, “FIFA had introduced new regulations in 2015, in which they replaced FIFA player’s agents with FA registered intermediaries. Given this, intermediaries are now required to register with a national association in the region that they are conducting activity on behalf of players and clubs.

“I am now in a great position to further assist players from Bermuda with trials, contract negotiations, marketing, etc, in the United Kingdom.

“Over the years, Footy Promotions has specialized in player development and placement. We have provided opportunities to Bermudian players by hosting the UK trials company and bringing representatives from top UK clubs to evaluate and train players.

“All the players that have benefited from these opportunities have performed and represented Bermuda well. In working with these players, we outsourced our intermediary services so now I have taken that role on to support Bermudians, manage their careers and work in their best interest.

“In addition to my intermediary license, I have also taken a course in talent identification. This course will help me to identify talent and provide players with the guidance needed to take their game to the next level and prepare for opportunities.

“Players will continue to be monitored through our futsal program [5-15 years old: April 2018], Footy STAR [10-19 years old: summer 2018] and player development events directed by Eurique Wilkin. In an effort to reduce initial cost by sending players overseas, club scouts from Europe will regularly be on the island to see the talent here in Bermuda.”

“I will also be conducting talks with players and parents at the Footy STAR events this summer. I personally will only be managing 10 players this year and will give them all my time and effort.

“By next year, the Footy STAR brand will operate as a management company and will look to manage more players and provide opportunities in different regions.”
