Ministry: 24 Bus Runs Cancelled On Friday
[Updated] The cancellation of bus runs continue, with the Ministry releasing a list of bus cancellations for this morning [Oct 5] with eight bus runs cancelled so far today.
Update 4.09pm: The Ministry has released the list of bus cancellations for this afternoon. There were 8 runs cancelled this morning, 16 cancelled this afternoon, for a total of 24 cancelled today.

No one has said to the general public why there were 24 cancellations, an example could be : 7 – mechanical , 14 – low passenger ridership , and 7 – shortage of drivers. Maybe budget cuts. The monitors have not worked at the terminal for a few years, thus you don’t know what is cancel led.I suppose this is the most visual of all public services that are challenged. Actual police officers walking thru various neighborhoods is a rarity, but they are seriously needed, more frequent health fairs are needed in the community, ie. Flatts, Crawl Prospect, Heron Bay, Naval Field, each location could be three times a year as a start from 3 to 7. I am willing to help, and I am sure many others, a rallying call needs to be put out here.
