Walker Selley Wins Gold Glove MVP & First Team
Bermudian student-athlete Walker Selley won the Central Valley Conference Gold Glove MVP award and earned First Team All-Conference honours following his outstanding performance with the College of the Sequoias baseball team in California.
Selley turned in one of the top all-around seasons in the conference, hitting .394 with 65 hits, 29 RBIs, and a .997 fielding percentage across 39 games.
The College of the Sequoias Giants completed the regular season with a 20-20 overall record and a 14-10 mark in conference play, finishing second in the CVC. The team earned the No. 3 seed in its regional postseason pod and advanced to the 3C2A Northern California Regional First Round.
