BUEI To Host Free ‘Oceans Open House’
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] is inviting the community to dive into an ocean of discovery this Saturday, June 20, from 10am to 3pm as it celebrates World Oceans Month with its annual free Oceans Open House.
A spokesperson said, “Dive into a sea of fun at The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] this Saturday, June 20, from 10am to 3pm in celebration of World Oceans Month! BUEI is making waves with its annual Oceans Open House, a FREE community event. Everyone is welcome to enjoy this vibrant, family-friendly event that is packed with creativity and ocean-inspired discovery.
“The open house provides an exciting lineup of activities that are designed to spark curiosity and imagination, including:
- Kids Hour Activities
- Scavenger Hunt & I-Spy
- Ocean Plastics Arts & Crafts
- Science Experiments and More!
“This year’s event is extra special because it coincides with BUEI’s popular Kids Hour Saturday, generously sponsored by Allshores. Learners of all ages will be submersed into the amazing world of octopuses with a short film, book reading and hands-on educational fun. Kids Hour sessions are scheduled at 11am, 12:30pm and 2pm.
