Man Bike-Jacked By Four Men on Bikes

May 20, 2010

sh125g_big02Around 9:30 pm last night [May 19], a man was forced off his bike by four men with weapons, who then proceeded to chase him and steal his bike.

The victim was riding in motorbike on Bishop Spencer Road in Pembroke, when two motorcycles, each carrying two men, approached him from behind.

The four men on bikes forced the victim to stop, and “brandished bladed articles as well as a blunt object” at him, before chasing the victim who managed to escape.

The four suspects then left the scene taking the motorcycle [a silver/grey Honda Scoopy 125cc license #BH 019] with them.

The victim, a 30 year old Pembroke man, managed to escape unharmed.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
