Female Listed As Critical Following Accident

At 3:30am today [June 5], first responders attended a serious single vehicle collision resulting in injury on East Broadway in the area of Corkscrew Hill. The police say that it appears that a 28 year old woman was riding a motorcycle when she lost control. As a result, she was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where she is presently listed in critical condition. Anyone who may have witnessed this collision is asked to contact Police on 295-0011

Update June 6: Further details: she collided with a curb, embankment and pole, sustaining serious head and internal injuries. She remains in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
