Mello Jones & Martin Celebrates 20 Years
Leading local law firm Mello Jones & Martin will celebrate their 20th anniversary which will be on July 1st 2010. The milestone marks 20 years since the merger between ‘Mello & Jones’ and ‘Hollis & Co’ to become ‘Mello Hollis Jones & Martin’, which became ‘Mello Jones & Martin’ in February 2000.
Today the firm has 22 attorneys and a total staff of over 60 people and operates out its current home in Thistle House at 4 Burnaby Street, where it moved in March 2006.
One of the founding partners, Mr Michael Mello QC attributes the firm’s success to its people: “We have gained a reputation for giving practical advice to our clients. This is the result of hard work by everyone; we have a good team and very talented lawyers and we all enjoy individual accomplishments that together have made the firm successful.”
Andrew Martin echoed Mr Mello’s remarks: “We have established a firm which is committed to providing a responsive, high quality legal service.
