Police Continue To Seek Shooting Witnesses

police logoThe Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for witnesses to the shooting that occurred around 2:05pm on Saturday July 10th in the area of Somerset Road and Sound View Road in Sandys parish. The victim, a 30 year old Paget man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, he has received medical treatment at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for his injury and was released a short time later.

The Police state that Investigations into this matter are ongoing and all lines of inquiry are being explored, including the examination of forensic evidence collected at the scene. Investigators from the Bermuda Police Service’s Serious Crime Unit are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8121 or the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
