Cycling & Football Champions Return Home
This evening [Oct 25] the airport saw the arrival of a number of Bermuda’s top athletes returning from very successful competitons in the Caribbean.
Pictured below are Shannon Lawrence, Adam Harbutt, Nicole Mitchell and Mark Hatherley, part of Bermuda’s medal winning team at the 2010 Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships in Guadeloupe.
Pictured below is Nicole Mitchell, who won two bronze medals at the 2010 Elite Caribbean Cycling Championships in Guadeloupe. She combined with Flora Duffy to make a two-strong Bermuda female cycling team, and they managed to pick up 66% of the available medals in the female division between just the two of them.

Pictured below are Rakeem DeShields – Somerset Eagles, Dunte Albouy – St. David’s, Troy Tucker – Somerset Eagles and Aaron Nelson – Boulevard Blazers. They are part of Bermuda’s U-20 World cup qualifying team, who put on an outstanding performance and have advanced to the next round of the World Cup competition.
