Photos: 2010 Pumpkin Picking at Hog Bay
Yesterday [Oct 23[ saw the start of the Halloween festivities, with Hog Bay Park in Sandys taken over by pumpkins. Starting from the car park there was a trail of stuffed pumpkins, as well as ghosts and giant spiders hung up along the way. The trail led out to the pumpkin patch where kids — and adults — were able to pick the pumpkin they wanted.
They actual patch was decorated in a Halloween themed manner, with tombstones and scarecrows to be seen. Face painting was available, and some kids even showed up in their Halloween costumes.
