Two Cars Collide on Palmetto Road
There were traffic delays on Palmetto Road just before 9am this morning [Oct 12] due to a car accident by the Dock Hill round-a-bout in Devonshire. It appears that the collision occurred after one car pulled out from the stop sign, colliding with a car traveling towards Hamilton. It appeared as though no one sustained any injuries, although one car sustained a fair amount of damage to the front end. The Police were on scene, and traffic could be seen temporarily backed up on both directions

Slow down, people!!! Doesn’t anybody ever learn? They were lucky this time.
THE DRIVER WEREN’T EVEN SPEEDING!!! TRY FINDING OUT FACTS FIRST…
Were they doing over 35km??
So which driver are you querying? Not sure, but I think with physics THERE IS DAMAGE when a BIG TRUCK hits a LITTLE CAR! I agree we should all learn to slow down…ON AND OFF THE ROAD! And of course show some courtesy!
oh stfu..ppl so stupid!
Slow down! That has nothing to do with it, if you are at a junction trying to get out and an on coming vechicle see’s that you are trying to come out and flashes their lights at you aren’t you going to pull out off and go? And by the way if stories are going to be published get them right because it was a TRUCK that hit the CAR.
Less than that… they were pulling out of the stop sign when SOMEONE else clipped them.
That is a crazy junction anyways. Anyone will try to make a mean dash off of Frog Lane to get past the traffic heading into town. Unless someone stops to let you out at that time a day, you will be sitting there for the while. This spot needs to be looked at for possible solution on a better traffic flow.
