Female German sailor Gesa Bornrmann was able to maintain her lead by pulling off 2 “bullets” today, stretching her lead to almost 10 points. 14-year-old Bermudian sailor Sam Stan had a good day and was able to break up the German “Triumvirate” which had locked up the first 3 spots on the first day of the regatta. Defending National Champion Stan, pulled off a 4, 3, 4, 1 in the last four races to move up a spot to third place overall. The top 5 sailors prior to the final 5 races being sailed on Sunday are Gesa Bornrmann (GER), Marvin Firsch (GER), Sam Stan (BER), Mauriel-Natalie Schroder(GER), Jack Parkin (USA).

While defending Champion Sam Stan has all but locked up his second National Championship, there is a tight battle for second between Chase Cooper and the Wollmann sisters, Ceci and Ellie. Another close battle between Antonio Bailey, Rory Caslin and Makai Joell will determine 5th – 7th for the locals.

The Green Fleet enjoyed their first day of racing in Hamilton Harbour on Saturday completing 7 races. Out of the 16 participants, Matilda Nicholls is the leader going into the final day followed very closely by Joe Arrowsmith and Lily Barboza.
