Football Results: Shield & Friendship Quarter Finals
The quarter finals of the Bermuda Football Association’s Sheild Trophy and Friendship Trophy took place today [Nov 28] with games taking place across the island, with the winners all advancing to the semi-finals. Results follow below:
First Division Sheild Trophy Results:
Ireland Rangers 1 – Hamilton Parish 5
- Hamilton Parish’s Romone Smith scored a hat-trick, Shayne Hollis and Al Rashid Ebbin also scored for Hamilton Parish, while Ryan Simons scored for Ireland Rangers.
BAA 9 – Paget Lions 0
- BAA got two goal apiece from Nigel Lee, Ian Simmons, Oliver Harvey, Chris Lima and Javon Stovell scored one as BAA defeated the Paget Lions.
Prospect United 2 – Robin Hood 1 [After extra time]
- Joshua Crockwell scored for Robin Hood, while Kentione Jennings scored for Prospect United. In extra time, Shaki Swan scored for Prospect United,
X’Road’s 1 (1) Wolves 1 (4) [After extra time]
- The match ended 1-1, with Wolves winning 4-1 on penalty kicks.
Premier Division Friendship Trophy Results:
North Village Rams 7 – St. David’s 0
- Scorers for North Village were Jason Lee, Thomas Watson, Ralph Bean Jr, Taurean Manders with two from Keishen Bean.
PHC Zebras 5 – Boulevard Blazers 1
- Cecoy Robinson gave the PHC Zebras the lead in the 12th minute, Teimko Wilson equalized for the Boulevard Blazers in the 28th minute, however two goals from Blenn Bean, and one each from Johnny Ball and Lloyd Holder.
Devonshire Colts 0 – Devonshire Cougars 2
- Devonshire Cougars got a goal each from Chris Caisey and Demetre Daniels as they defeated the Devonshire Colts.
Southampton Rangers 1 – St. George’s Colts 1 – Match Abandoned Due to Bad Light
- At Lord’s in St. David’s, bad light ended play before extra time could begin after the game ended 1-1, Morricko Iris scored for the Southampton Rangers and Jahron Dickinson equalized for the St. George’s Colts. The game will be replayed
