Bernews: Moving Servers Overnight [Success!]
[Updated] Just a quick notice to our readers that overnight we will be moving Bernews to a new server. This upgrade will enable the website to run faster and more efficiently.
Readers logging on overnight may experience errors or downtime, and we will also disable comments overnight due to technical reasons. We apologize to “night owl” Bernews readers for this interruption.
Due to this move we will cease updating the site at 12am and restart at 8am, unless we have any form of major breaking news scenario.
Update 8am, Feb 12: The move is done, with no hitches and we are back. The new server we have is effectively four times as powerful, so Bernews should run much faster and smoother from now on. Thanks to everyone for their patience.
