Photos: US Air Force Aircraft Depart
Four of the five US Air Force aircrafts that had been visiting Bermuda this weekend, departed the LF Wade International Airport earlier today [Mar.22]
Some of the visiting planes appeared to be CV-22 Osprey aircraft, about which the US Air Force website says “The CV-22 Osprey is a tiltrotor aircraft that combines the vertical takeoff, hover and vertical landing qualities of a helicopter with the long-range, fuel efficiency and speed characteristics of a turboprop aircraft. Its mission is to conduct long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply missions for special operations forces.”
