Roy-Allan Burch Reaches Grand Prix Final
Bermuda swimmers Nick Thomson, Julian Fletcher, Roy-Allan Burch and Rebecca Sharpe are all taking part in the Indianapolis Swimming Grand Prix, attempting to make the qualifying times for the FINA World Championships.
Competing in the morning session on Day Two, Roy-Allan Burch has qualified for the Men’s 50 Long Course Meter Freestyle A Final, which will take place tonight [Mar.4]. Mr Burch recorded the 8th fastest qualifying time of 23.26, while Nick Thomson finished 47th with a time of 24.49.
Competing in the Women’s 100 Long Course Meter Backstroke preliminaries, Rebecca Sharpe finished 63rd with a time of 1:08.95, while Julian Fletcher finished 35th in the Men’s 200 Long Course Meter Breaststroke with a time of 2:27.89.
