Photo Slideshow: Beach Tennis
This past Saturday [May 14] beach tennis players took to Horseshoe Bay for an afternoon of play. Beach tennis follows the rules of tennis but with one or two minor changes, it is played in a doubles format with paddles and a decompressed tennis ball with a 5′ 10″ high net. The players will be back out the weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 1-3 at Horseshoe Bay.
The island will be hosting the Bermuda International Beach Tennis Tournament, an ITF Tournament sanctioned by the BLTA, on August 26th 27th and 28th 2011. Visit Bermudabeachtennis.com for more info.
