$20,000 Scholarship: Deadline Ends Friday
Digicel wishes to remind interested students about its $20,000 scholarship, which is available to a Bermudian student wishing to attend an accredited university or sports institution overseas.
“We have received quite a few submissions already,” stated Digicel Bermuda CEO, Wayne Caines, “but we wish to remind all students looking to benefit from international exposure and sports training to submit their applications by Friday.”
This one year scholarship will be available to students in two different categories: students pursuing overseas study in an accredited university or college and individuals who are affiliated with a professional sporting body who have been accepted into a sports organization or training school.
The full list of eligibility criteria and required documents can be found at www.digicelbermuda.com/news. Applications must be submitted to the Digicel Scholarship Selection Committee by this Friday, July 1, 2011.
