Cricket: Young Men’s Social Club Withdraw

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] confirmed today [June 24] that Young Men’s Social Club have officially withdrawn themselves from all BCB cricket for the remainder of the 2011 season due to a lack of player personnel available.

Mr. Reginald Pearman, President, stated, “It is unfortunate to receive Young Men’s Social Club’s withdrawal for the 2011 season but understandable given their circumstances and we hope that they will be able to rebuild their team for the 2012 season.”

    As I go over this one question comes to mind, was all the money invested in winning so much worth it for YMSC cricket program. Also why do you pay for a coach when you dont have a development program that can show that your money was well worth it. yes there are challenges with all teams in Bermuda. YMSC have such a great youth program that they can be proud off too bad I think the wrong people where in position for the cricket program. Lets hope they come back some time soon.
