‘Gorilla Doctor’ To Speak In Bermuda

Gorilla-Doctors_WOn June 28 and 29 Dr Mike Cranfield, the Executive Director of the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project, will give a Presentation at the Tradewinds Auditorium at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

The Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project [MGVP] is an international team of veterinarians known as the Gorilla Doctors.

They are the only group providing wild mountain gorillas with direct, life-saving medical care. They work in Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Their website says, “The Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project (MGVP) is dedicated to saving the lives of critically-endangered mountain gorillas. Our international team of veterinarians, the Gorilla Doctors, is the only group providing wild mountain gorillas with direct, hands-on care.”

The lecture series is presented by the Atlantic Conservation Partnership & Bermuda Zoological Society Support Charities for Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo.
