Monday: Somerset to St George’s Comet Race

The West End Sailboat Club will host the annual the Edward Cross Long Distance Comet Race between Somerset to St. Georges this coming Monday [June 20].

The race will start at 11:00 a.m. in the Great Sound near the West End Sailboat Club ,and will end approximately 3 hours later in St. Georges Harbour.

The Ministry of Transport, Department of Marine & Ports Services, asked mariners to “give adequate clearance and create minimal wake when in the vicinity of the racing comets.”
