Jamaican DJ Mr Vegas To Headline BeachFest
Jamaican reggae singer Mr Vegas will headline this year’s BeachFest at Horseshoe Bay. Hosted by Chewstick, the event will take place on Wednesday, July 27 and Thursday, July 28, and is expected to attract thousands of people. [view photos of last year’s BeachFest here]
Born Clifford Smith in Kingston, Jamaica, Mr Vegas retired from the music scene 2008 citing a desire to spend more time with his children and to be “closer to God Almighty”. However, the following year he came back on the scene with new music. The dancehall artist is known for hits such as Yu Sure, Jack It Up, Nike Air, and Heads High – the video of which appears below:

Well it isn’t the only genre we know but it is the most popular. To be fair BeachFest is musically divers and they’ve had headliners from other countries and genres in the past.
