Carrington Mahoney Wins Prosecutor of the Year
Deputy Director of Prosecutions Carrington Mahoney has been awarded the International Association of Prosecutors Award of Prosecutor of the Year 2011.
The International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) is the only worldwide organisation representing prosecutors. It has 130 organisational members from over 90 countries, representing over 200, 000 prosecutors worldwide, as well as many personal members.

Candidates for Prosecutor of the Year were proposed from a number of international jurisdictions, large and small. An awards panel of senior international prosecutors selected from members of the IAP Executive Committee assessed the nominations and made a small number of awards to the best qualified nominees, who are all line prosecutors working on cases in Court.
The Department of Public Prosecutions extended its congratulations to Mr. Mahoney.
