Tennis: McHarg Reaches Finals in St. Lucia
Play in the 28th Annual Coca Cola ITF Junior Open in St. Lucia continued at the St. Lucia Tennis Centre, with both Taylor McHarg and Eva Frazzoni taking to the courts.
McHarg advanced to the girls under/14 finals after she defeated Dajohnique Delancy from Trinidad.
Delancy previously defeated the tournaments number 2 seed, and McHarg proved too strong defeating her in straight set 6-3, 6-3.
McHarg then teamed up with Frazonni in the Under 14 Girls Doubles, the pair went down in a three set thriller against Delancy from Trinidad and D’Jeri Raymond from Antigua & Barbuda.
McHarg & Frazzoni won the first set 6 – 1, but they went down in the second set 7-5. The pair battled back and forth in the third and final set, before Delancy & Raymond won the set 11-9.
