Football: 2011 Corona League Season
Details about the 2011 Corona Football League Season were announced yesterday [Sept.8]. The season will kick off at the BAA Field on September 17th at 3:00pm with the Rubis Charity Shield match between Vasco and the North Village Rams.
Vasco will be weakened as their leading goalscoring duo of Rui Furtado and Milton Ferriera have both registered for the North Village Rams, both players saw action in their PDL/Practice match on Sunday at the Bernard Park.
On Friday, September 23rd, the first league match of the season will pit the St. George’s Colts against their East End Rivals St. David’s at 6:30pm, that will be followed by Tuff Dogs taking on Rodin Hood at 8:30pm.
St. George’s Colts have joined the League with Fire FC having to withdraw due to work commitments.
