Rego Wins U/16 Tournament in Canada
Notching up yet another international win, Bermuda’s teen tennis sensation Chris Rego has won the ACE Under 16 Tournament in Canada.
After defeating the tournament’s second seed Marc Isaia from Ontario, Rego took on the tournament number 5 seed Elijah Ogilvy from Ontario, Rego defeated him in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to advance to the Finals.
In the Final Rego took on Stuart Macleod, the pair fought back and forth in the first set that saw Rego come away with a 7-6 win, he then won the second set 6-2 to be crowned the ACE Under 16 Champion.
