Corona League & Premier Division Results
Yesterday [Nov.26] a number of Corona League and Premier Division football games were played across the island, and saw the North Village Rams, Tuff Dogs, BAA, and Somerset Trojans all walk away with victories.
Corona League: North Village Rams 3 – Lobster Pot 2
In the First Corona League game of the day the North Village Rams defeated Lobster Pot 3-2, Marcel Dill scored twice for the Rams, who got another strike from Nakia Smith, while Kenfre Thompson scored the lone goal for Lobster Pot.
Corona League: Valley 0 – Tuff Dogs 4
Tuff Dogs got two goals from Lamaul Crofton, while Haile Outerbridge and Yusef Pitt scored a goal each as they defeated Valley 4 – 0
Corona League: BAA 3 – West End United 3
BAA and West End United played to a 3 – 3 draw at the BAA field. Adam Shaw scored twice for the home team, while Alex Hunter added the other. Eugene Simmons scored twice for West End United who also got a goal from Junior DeSilva.
Premier Division: Robin Hood 1 – Somerset Trojans 2
In the lone Premier Division match of the day, the home team Robin Hood took the lead in the second minute when Dunya Albouy gave them the lead, however the visiting Somerset Trojans drew level five minutes later when Tahj Wade found the net. The winner came four minutes for the visitors, with an own goal in the 11th minute enabling the Somerset Trojans to come away with the 2 – 1 win over Robin Hood.
