Extra Festival Performances Added
If you missed out on your tickets to ZOO ZOO or Blake — whose chart-topping single “All Of Me” was the unofficial wedding song for Prince William and Kate Middleton – two extra performances have been added to the schedule of the Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts.
Tickets for the 2012 season went on sale on Monday. Due to demand, the popular British boy-band, Blake who open the Festival on January 17, will give an additional performance on Wednesday, January 18 at the Fairmont Southampton at 8:30 p.m.
The four members of Blake were all classically trained. Meeting over the Internet they formed Blake and released their first album in 2007.
It quickly topped both the classical and pop charts in Britain and the track “Swing Low” became the anthem for the England rugby in 2007.
This year Blake’s single “All of Me” recorded in honour of the Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton, was popular all over the world.
Festival organisers have also arranged an additional performance by Imago Theatre of ZOO ZOO.
ZOO ZOO is family entertainment where the antics of animals take to the stage and delight all.
A Sunday evening show on February 26th will begin at 6.30.
You can order your tickets to these extra performances at all box office locations and online at the Bermuda Festival website www.bermudafestival.org or www.bdatix.bm Festival box office locations are: All Wrapped Up, Washington Mall and Fabulous Fashions at the Heron Bay Plaza, Southampton.
