Stolen Bike Recovered In Sandys
A bike belonging to a 16-year-old who was robbed by a group of men over the weekend has been recovered.
A police spokesperson said, “On Sunday November 27, police received information regarding a suspected stolen auxiliary cycle found abandoned in the Spring Benny Road, Sandys area. Officers located and recovered the auxiliary cycle license plate 762AB.
“Further inquiries determined that the same auxiliary cycle was stolen during a robbery in the Woodlawn Road and Rockywold Drive, Sandys area on the night of Saturday November 26. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing.
On November 26th a 16-year-old was riding his cycle along Rockywold Drive, when he was accosted by a group of young men wearing hooded tops who stole his cycle and Blackberry.
