Bermuda Prosecutor Gets Cayman Post

Bermuda Crown Counsel Kirsty-Ann Gunn is leaving for the Cayman Islands where she is the newest permanent Magistrate that British Caribbean territory’s Summary Court.

Mrs. Gunn has been a Crown Counsel [Specialist] with the Government of Bermuda since September 2010. She will formally take up the Cayman post on 16 April.

Previously Mrs. Gunn served for a period of four and a half years as a Crown Counsel in the Cayman Islands.

During her time in the Cayman Islands, Mrs. Gunn played an active role in the local Drug Rehabilitation Court as the Crown’s Senior Drug Rehabilitation Court Prosecutor.

Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands, Mrs. Gunn worked as a Higher Court Advocate/Senior Crown Prosecutor in the United Kingdom for four years and as an independent Barrister.
