Augustus Wins BPGA Port Royal Round
The Bermuda Professional Golfers Association’s [BPGA] Jack Daniels Tour continued with a Round at the Port Royal Golf Course.
The Jack Daniels Tour saw Nick Jones and Barry DeCouto playing in their first event of the year. DeCouto has been out of golf for a while as he had a severe injury which sidelined him for 7 years.
Daniel Augustus won the Round with a steady 73. In a tie for second was the always steady Dwayne Pearman and Scott Roy, who has returned after a lay off with injury and work commitments, both players shooting 76. Nick Jones was 4th with a round of 77, while Cornell Bean rounded out the top 5 with an 80.
