Pedestrian Injured In Paget Accident
Around 8am this morning [Feb.28] police and first responders attended an accideny in the area of South Road and the Railway Trail in Paget which saw a car strike a pedestrian.
“Details are unclear at this time; however the pedestrian believed to be a 54 year old Paget woman was injured,” said a police spokesperson.
“She was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The extent of her injuries is currently unknown; however they are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
“The car driver, a 21 year old Paget woman was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Any witnesses should contact the main police number on 295-0011.”
