Kappa Classic Football Champions Crowned
The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity [Bermuda Alumni Chapter] hosted the Final Day of their Annual Kappa Classic yesterday [Mar.25] at the National Sports Center and the BFA Field.
The North Village Rams Reds won the Under 8 Final 3 – 2 in kicks from the penalty mark shoot-out over Hamilton Parish.
The Under 10 Final was won by Valencia 2 – 0 over the Dandy Town Hornets and following their game they were surprised with a gift from the CEO of Bermuda Sports Management Group Calvin Blankendal. Valencia have won entry to the Disney Cup 2012 in Orlando, Florida this July.
BAA Greens won the Under 12 Final with a 1 – 0 victory over the North Village Rams while Valencia Orange defeated the Dandy Town Hornets 1 – 0 to lift the Under 14 Trophy.
The Dandy Stars won the Girls Under 11 Title with a 3 – 0 win over the Somerset Trojans Blacks while the Somerset Trojans Reds won the Girls Under 13 Final defeating the Dandy Stars 2 – 1 on kicks from the penalty mark.
Congrats to all, now it’s time to clean up Frog Lane before Carifta comes around.
