Photos: Bermuda Lose To Nepal In Cricket
Playing in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates, the Bermuda National Cricket team lost their fifth consecutive game, with Nepal winning by 24 runs today [Mar.18].
Bermuda lost the toss for the first time during the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers, and Nepal elected to bat. Sammy Robinson was making his first start of the tour, while Stefan Kelly was recalled.
Nepal scored 151/6 in their allotted 20 overs, Paras Khadka was their top scorer with 65 not out, while Sharad Vesawkar added 44. Dion Stovell was the pick of the Bermuda bowlers with figures of 4-0-25-4 and Justin Pitcher bowled 3-0-29-2.
In reply Bermuda scored 127/5, Janeiro Rucker was the top scorer with 32, while David Hemp added 26, Shakti Gauchan was the pick of the Nepal bowlers with figures of 4.0-0-17-3. The final score was Nepal 151/6 Bermuda 127/5, and a full scorecard is here.
