FA Cup Photos: Dandy Town Beat NVCC 5 – 2
[Updated] The Dandy Town Hornets are meeting up with the North Village Rams this afternoon [Apr.15] for the FA Cup Final, and at half time Dandy Town is leading 3 – 0. We will update with the final score and photos after the game is completed.
Update: Dandy Town wins the game 5 -2. After some eight minutes Angelo Simmons from the Dandy Town Hornets had a shot come back off the crossbar with North Village Rams goalkeeper Jason Williams stranded. In the 15th minute the Dandy Town Hornets opened the scoring as Simmons beat two North Village Rams defenders and he slipped the ball into the path of Lynn Tucker who made no mistake from close range.
Five minutes later it was 2 – 0, a defense splitting pass found Dandy Town’s Sieon Darrell who beat an advancing North Village Rams goalkeeper Jason Williams. Raymond Beach made it 3 – 0 to the Dandy Town Hornets in the 30th minute when he took a pass from Simmons and beat Williams to his right.
After 37 minutes, the North Village Rams took off Lashun Dill and Kiawon Dill and replaced them with Jason Lee and Jemeiko Jennings coming on. At the half the Dandy Town Hornets hold a 3 – 0 lead over the North Village Rams.
In the 52nd minute Simmons shot went over the crossbar. One minute later Tucker was replaced by Fabion Frankson. In the 65th minute the Dandy Town Hornets went ahead 4 – 0 when Beach got on the end of a cross to score his second goal of the game.
In the 70th minute Keishen Bean pulled a goal back for the North Village Rams, when he scored from a 20 yard free kick making the score 4 – 1, one minute later Dandy Town Hornets replaced Kamen Tucker with Kowonde Lathan. North Village Rams brought off Sean Fubler and replaced him with Jahquan Smith-Deshields. Minutes later Wolde Place came on for Beach.
In the 80th minute Damon Ming raced away from the North Village Rams defenders and beat Williams to his right to make it 5 – 1, but two minutes later Ralph Bean Jr. pulled a goal back for the North Village Rams when he scored from inside the box.
